Scope and provider
These terms apply to the use of the Zecretly application and the websites zecretly.com and zecretly.ch. The provider is Cédric Blum, an individual in Switzerland (details in the legal notice). Contact: hallo@zecretly.com.
By downloading or using Zecretly you accept these terms.
What Zecretly does
Zecretly replaces names, addresses, amounts, dates and similar details in files and text on your computer with placeholders and shifted values. With the locally stored mapping, Zecretly later puts the real values back. Supported are Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, and email in .eml and .msg format.
Plans and prices
Zecretly is available in the plans Free, Pro and Enterprise. The application and the website show which features and prices belong to a plan. Terms on payment, term and cancellation of paid plans apply from the time those plans become available, and will be added here.
Right to use
You receive the non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Zecretly for your own purposes. Without our consent you may not resell, rent out or offer Zecretly as your own product. Mandatory statutory rights, for example to fix errors, remain unaffected.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the files and text you process with Zecretly and for complying with your legal and contractual obligations, for example a professional secrecy duty or an agreement with your clients. Zecretly is not legal advice.
Zecretly does not catch every value. Paraphrases, text inside images and scanned PDFs without a text layer are not read reliably. Look at the protected copy before you share or upload it. You decide what you pass on to third parties, for example to an AI service.
Availability and changes
Zecretly can change. Features may be added, changed or removed. We may adapt these terms. The version in force is the one on this page, and the date at the top shows its status.
Warranty and liability
Zecretly is offered as it is. To the extent permitted by law, the provider excludes warranty and liability, in particular for damage resulting from Zecretly not finding or not replacing a value, and for indirect damage and lost profit. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, remains unaffected.
Privacy
What Zecretly and this website process is described in the privacy policy.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The place of jurisdiction is the provider’s seat (Birmensdorf ZH), unless the law mandates a different place of jurisdiction.
